Made in conjunction with my Latvian MC Rida-B, so it's a bit different. Needs work on the arrangement and the drop and I can't seem to stop using the damn GLAM BASS. Note to self to buy some plug-ins at some point. Full of totally OTT synth but it was hard to resist after we drank half a bottle o...Crazy Cousinz Tribute Uploaded by mobidextrous Start following Send a message on November 09, 2009 15:51

Love the arrangemnt. The bass sounded a bit middley on my monitors though.

It is what it says it is. It's definitely a bit rough around the edges. Blatant poaching of the riff on their wonderful, seminal bit: " INFLATION " Some messing with the levels, re-fix up the bass and we might have a tune here. Copying someone else's work is the ultimate compliment, ALIE...Dark Chocolate (Edit) Uploaded by mobidextrous Start following Send a message on November 08, 2009 07:33

You asked me to listen. I like the beats but I'm not sold on the lead. It would be OK for a bridge/chorus but I think it overused and needs another lead part to interplay with. Maybe the distorted lead could have a bassier sound running underneath it to give it more umph. Also, f it were me I'd be thinking about making more of a verse chorus arrangement. Just an opinion - you know what your going for.

Finally I've got the basic ideas down about bass-lines. Here's the outcome, a real Banger. Funky elements, straight house? I don't really know I just hope you enjoy. - Yen Riddim (AOR Mix) Artwork

This is very much a work in progress, just messing around with some different themes over a nice steppy rolling beat. Comments and feedback are welcome as I'm not sure what direction to take this track. - TJs Theme Artwork

This track has a dark tribal feel. I made more of an effort to layer the kick drum and make the snare sound a bit more whippish... I'm pretty happy with it but it's a work in progress and unmastered.. obviously. Think it could mash up the dance though :) - Orange Blossom Artwork

This is a track I'm pretty happy with, so it'd be wrong to call it a work in progress EDIT: It Is a work in progress. I'm trying to make stuff that fits into my UK Funky sets, but keep on venturing into territory which seems more like, I dunno.... what yer call it... Anyway if you like beats ... - Fucksticks (Organic Refix) Artwork

cut a half beat between the 2nd to and last bops of the xylaphone, make the last 2 more choppy. then it'll have a nicer uk funky sound to it, but it's a cool track =] defo needs some female vocals or something on top. Dont think it's too crowded either. Respect - Keep doin ur ting!

Its nice but probably needs something else. A vocal maybe (which I know is easier said than done). If it was me I'd push it in a ska direction.

First complete track but remixed with a bigger, dubby bass and a harder, more driving kink to the beat. I reckon there might be a few too many elements and layers in this one, and it sounds crowded... it's that balance that's tough to achieve without a second opinion when you're a beginner like m...

I'm a DJ and I love UK music. We don't have too much in England to be proud of, but one thing which makes me feel blessed is that our country is a pioneer in the creation of such cool and diverse dance music. I was never much of a patriotic person, but now I live in China and am pushing urban UK music in all the clubs here in Beijng. I've got bookings coming up in Hong Kong, Thailand and Shanghai too.
Watch this space for updates on the UK urban music takeover, featuring funky-afro-soca-house and grimey bashment-house crossovers.
