Mary has a long and passionate relation to singing. Mary composes and writes her own multi-dimensional lyrics – a lyricist by nature. She finds the everyday life inspiring, finding the depth and passion in the feelings touching everyone. She takes her influences from Afro-American music, most close to her are soul, funk and jazz. She also is conscious of the trends in modern dance music, she can sing a variety of genres and styles.

Mary started in soundcloud with Mikko Vainionpää aka Mo (http://soundcloud.com/dj-mo-vain), doing Mo and Mary. Mo and Mary was an interesting conseptual collaboration with 2 strong artists, rising from the idea of how to express nordic multicultural urban soul in the means of music conceptual. The heritage of Mo and Mary remains in Marys Jam, the collab still continuing, with more emphasis on Mary. She has further expanded her expression into various forms. Nowdays she is also a singer in Eireen (Eireen), doing finnish unique pop& rock songs and gigging in Finland.
