Misura AKA Mario Conteddu is a Dj, producer and Musician, he was born in Italy in 1980 and started his musical path at the age of 12 attending piano lessons and becoming part of a band that lead him to play in many parties, shows, festivals, contests and events in Italy.
His fast growing ambition lead him to leave the acoustic bands scene to develop new ideas with the electronic instruments help. In 1994, he bought his first roland digital sampler and started performing by creating Hip Hop instrumentals and scratches for Hip Hop bands and so getting closer to the dj's world and dance music.
Thanks to this new influence, Misura had the chance to take part in a number of music events such as dj sets in clubs, discobars, raves, villas, beach parties getting more inspiration from dance music like Techno and House.
In 2000 he got his first residency at Shamboo Club becoming one of the first pioneers of Tribal House in Sardinia, Italy, and playing next to djs like Paathan (stonedasia), Gaudi and Omnidrive.
Misura is now based in London since 2004 and studied Music Informatics at University of Westminster in which he had the chance learn from lecturers such as Keith Harris.
Some of the clubs where Misura can be heard include Ministry of Sound, Aquarium, Egg, Rhythm Factory, Euphoria, Workshop, The Russian , Factory, Bar & Co boat parties, Freitag, The Gallery, Plastic Fondu, Movimento Afterhours, Bigfish, Freitag.
At the moment he produces and remix tracks for Tum Cha Records, Cosh Records and Worldwide Exclusive.
