Need a gift for a gifted musician?
In 2003 I gave a demo of my music to DJ Godfather. This demo became my first record, Pass The Dutch on the legendary Databass Records out of Detroit. Home of the likes of DJ Deeon, DJ Assault and DJ Nasty, just to name a few.
After releasing my first record i was asked to produce tracks for some of the hottest Detroit Ghetto Tech vocalists, to name a few, Coon Daddy, Six Foe and DJ Omega.
In 2006 I started playing with digital systems like Serato, this opened my eyes to the new possibilities. I used to edit tracks down to where they become more like a dj tool than a song and messed around with cue points and loops.
In 2009 I made the switch to Ableton Live and an Akai APC40 controller, to take this concept to the next level.
