Wow. So much of that is so similar to my experiences. I remember my brain seeming like it was going to burst as I watched particles, in groups of three, dancing before me. I felt like I was seeing the fabric of the universe but it was too much and going to kill me. Part of an untreated mania that lasted about 6 months. You don't see much anecdotal information about Bipolar type I so thank you very much Mind and the wonderfully eloquent Reka Krieg.
