@Mike Leghorn: 6-25-2012: Made some minor changes. Added in missing harp note near end and reduced compression.

This was my #1 favorite rocking horse tune when I was about 3-4 years old. What can I say — it rocks!

@Buckminster Darwin: I have no idea! I emailed Soundcloud about it, wondering if it was a denial of service attack. They said no, it wasn't. Go figure.

@Mark Holt: Thanks Mark. I can't wait either! This project is starting to wear me out -- but your encouraging words will help keep me motivated.

@mysticgroove: Funny you should say that. I watched Clockwork Orange last night! The music is great. Thanks for the comment.

HAY! Clockwork orange meets Holst's Aquarian younger brother! Interesting and boldly creative! Cheers. MG

@bluesquarestories: You're not the first person to say that about that part. Thanks for the comment!

@Noctilucent Clouds: I use presets, and tweak them. It's hard to say what my focus is -- it just has to work somehow. I do a lot of experimenting. I pay a lot of attention to reverb -- each track has two or three sends to different reverb busses. I'm finding that leads work well in this kind of music, and I especially like Diva leads. I prefer ACE for growling brass sounds, and Zebra for percussion and complex organic sounds.

@3ee: Yes, this is where I use it. It's an atmospheric pad with a bit of a windy, whispery sound.

Can't really identify the Ethereal Fjord pad... maybe it's more of a layer contour.. but here might be the place where you did use it, yes?

You know ima lookin forward to the rest, good work, it seems like such a daunting task, so much variance and dynamics!

Very Cinematic/visual track this one:) did you have any inspiration or focus on how you designed the sounds?

@Mike Leghorn: A good example of the intellectual appeal of music, one of the advantages of obtaining musical knowledge - it broadens and deepens your appreciation.

@Dan Ling: Yeah, it's kind of ominous. I like how Holst uses it at different speeds, sometimes at the same time. Vaughan Williams took a page out of Holst's book in the last mvt of his 4th symphony and 3rd mvt of his 6th symphony -- using the same theme played at different speeds. I think the technical term for it is isomorphism.
