MIDI:09 first formed in 2008, about a year after a chance meeting between Keith and Chris at a south London techno night in Brixton. Both were booked to DJ at the night and after being introduced to one and other by the promoter they got chatting and Keith invited Chris to play a guest slot on his radio show. The duo posessed past experience with various production programs and methods but it was in Keith’s studio, with his enviable collection of software coupled with his technical know how, that they decided to base themselves for the inevitable collaborations that were to follow. On this page you can hear examples of their work as MIDI:09 and of their individual sounds. They are currently signed to Twister Tunes and are enjoying positive responses from dance floors and DJs across London.
