I sang a guest vocal on this beautiful track from Australian singer Sarah Calderwood's first solo album, As Night Falls, released at the end of 2011. The song is a traditional one, though I'd never heard it before. The orchestral arrangement Sarah sent me was all I had to go on and it was so gorgeous that I made up my own melodies to suit it, rather than research the song's history and reproduce or conjure a twist on the original melody. Sarah is a member of celtic Aussie band Sunas.

I knew Kate Rusbys version of this, which is just as beautiful, yet more calm. But this is just gorgeous. I hate Itunes but I had to go and buy it right away as I can't wait for a CD to come all the way from Australia.
