My solo take on this song, a full-band version of which was issued a few years ago with Norwegian group One People. Lyrics written with my friend David Spangler.
Slightly amended remix, 5 July 2010 (less compression, a few balance tweaks).

Wonderful! A great message for our time full of soul and genuine sentiment. We need more of this. Bring it on, Mike! Thanks for sharing your songs...

@dilleypickle: Thanks, Dude. The theme and intent of the song was set by my colleague David Spangler.

Brilliant take on a powerful song. I must say I really like both versions (the other version I know ie. the one for which there is a video on the WB mySpace page, with Mike on lead vocals) - each version has its own personality, though this one hits me as more personal and intimate

I much prefer this version of it than the full-band venture for highly technical reasons which I will not be inveigled to divulge.
