London born Michael Kelly spent his youth growing up in the west of Ireland. Introduced to music at a very young age, traditional Irish Music was part of his up-bringing and he began by playing instruments including the guitar and piano in addition to singing.
As he grew older he became hugely interested in electronic music and Vinyl. He played his first gig to a crowd at the age of 14. He found his first major influences among the UK & Irish Hard House scene. After organizing many parties in his hometown and presenting a show on a local radio station, he moved to the outskirts of Dublin city at the age of 18. Here he began listening to Techno & House. Influenced by Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Chris Liebing and Dave Clarke, he took any opportunity to go to their shows in the city centre. Shortly after completing an event management and music technology course, he started what was to be a 5 year residency at 515 in the renowned Tripod/Pod clubs. Over the years he supported the likes of Loco Dice, Format B, Sebastien Leger, Japanese Popstars, Matador and much more. He also featured on line ups including Electric Picnic, Life Festival, Yes Festival, Mongo, Download & Allegro. In addition to this, he presented a popular radio show on Dublin's Play FM. The show gave an huge insight into what Michael is all about outside the surrounds of his club sets. You could hear dubbed out deep house at 110bpm, right up to banging 4 to the floor Techno.
