About

My name is Michael Allen, and I build songs.

For seven years, I have immersed myself in electronic music of all kinds. From the most obscure to the most well-known genres, I have taken time learning how to produce every different kind of computer-based music that I can.My roots were laid in the hardcore scene of Atlanta, GA between 2006 and 2010, but I really started to thrive when I made a promise to myself a very long time ago:Make music that people-- unrelated and related-- can make memories with.

I started off by making instrumental pieces that I could jam out to in my room.Very few of my friends ever heard what I was really doing, partially because, at the time, I felt my music just wasn't mature enough to be released.Over time, I have amassed a sizable song catalog (about 800 works) of instrumentals, each of which has a particular meaning to me.I make the best music when I have a reason to make music, and it's always been my hope that someone could feel the reasons without the lyrics that so commonly accentuate music today.

But...That huge catalog received an interesting boost in the form of the vocals that I pledged--in the beginning--to keep out of my music. In September of 2010, I got in the car with a close friend of mine (a sort of musical...God father, if you will) to show him a new song I had just produced. The song was called, "These Broken Limits."Upon hearing this song, he simply said: "I can't wait to hear you drop this at a party."

While walking around the campus of my school, Bucknell, I was listening to my song, when I heard the song "Like a g6" in the background, and noticed that it sounded oddly decent with my music playing underneath it.I went back to my room, opened up a new program that I was barely familiar with, and edited the vocals for "Like a G6" over my instrumental.

Since then, I have continued to develop my ability to work with vocals, as well as improving my capabilities as a producer. You, my friends, family, and musical colleagues, have helped show me that my music has the potential to fulfill the goal I set for myself years ago: Make music that people--unrelated or related--can make memories with.

So, sift through my 20 or so songs that are on here, and know that they represent but a fraction of my overall catalog...and know that they have each been created by me, click by click, instrument by instrument, piece by piece.

My music wouldn't be what it is if there weren't people taking the time to listen to it and download it. So, I say to you: Download my music. Love It. Make memories with it.
