One morning Franz K. is arrested. He becomes free, but is accused. Why? He tries to find it out and to defend. But who are his judges, the court? He will never know: at the end of the story he is killed by no names with a knife. A dark story. A great story for electronic music, for synths. ..."The face" Uploaded by Michael Klatte Start following Send a message on September 14, 2009 07:53

Michael, I hope, the grand success you had with this outstanding composition in other forums will happen again here on soundcloud.
Like many others I´d like to hear this great piece of guitar-music performed live with a small ensemble of excellent musicians.
Probably one day, when the whole piece is finished, such a concert will take place somewhere in our musical world!
I wish it for you and as a proof of your great talent!

- Michael Klatte on August 31, 2009 13:09
@django365: Thank you very very much for your reply!!!! Especialy, because it seems to be very difficult to write anything to a classic piece. In future I promise to upload simple pieces only with drums and bass, and one chord but a length of 1 hour!
-
@Michael Klatte: i sincerely hope you are joking, because this is an very interesting piece. very well put together. i wish you had someone to perform it with you live with the instrumentation! really very well done. respect!
- Michael Klatte on August 31, 2009 14:41
@KFSFK: Thx so much! joke? mmmhhh....And: Yes it would be great, if this piece some day would be played live. The voices are Tyros 2. The "Partitur" is made with Cubase. Michael
-
@Michael Klatte: a joke about single note hour long tracks, like many i run into on this site... and was that guitar live?
- Michael Klatte on September 02, 2009 08:22
@KFSFK: No. There are (for me) too many different parts, to play it so, that I am contented. I have to work with the whole composition: Cubase- it is too exact. There is a feature in Cubase, that allows the user to mak eit more natural. And: Mix! By the way: Your music is great! Michael

J dY Stamp: Thank you very much. And thx also to the people at Korg, who created such an amazing instrument. This music was done with two voices, bell and SFX, and the different sounds (church bells, noise...) created very easy while playing. Amazing for me is: the impression, that the music is not only left, right, middle: it is in the room. Michael

Hi Michael, as we are of the same age, I can tell you, that I had exactly the same environment as you describe it in my childhood. We also played in the unfinished houses and we also had rainy days, where we played in pools from rainy water on these building places. and we also builded a raft on which we could ship across the muddy pool. The music you have composed brings back those old days to me. Thank you very much for posting this wonderful piece of music!

wow really compelling piece of music. i listened a few times to sort out where it was going. the sounds, expecially at the end, are very dramatic and quite emotional. the story of the child adds to it. interestingly, the child dreams of journey and yet still lives in the same village. did he ever leave?
- Michael Klatte on August 16, 2009 17:18
Yes, he left...And returned. And he didn´t find anymore, what was. And now he has to go again, and never wants to come back. And I hope, he finds, what he searches.

This is one of my favorite pieces so far. Your story about your childhood fits very well. I really like that it has a broad dynamic range. It has quiet moments and interesting surprises. Well done!
- Michael Klatte on August 10, 2009 18:59
Thank you for your kind words. To this music is to say: It is an imrovisation on the sequenzer of Rolands Juno G, without any mixing/mastering. The voices are my creation (first time, I edited/created voices and used it in songs) Playing this, I was back!
