This special remix is by Rupert & Mennert: “We’ve taken the Lawrence Lessig sample. And then we made it shift phases. We took this idea from an old Steve Reich track. He does the same trick (only he was original and we are not!) with bandrecorders playing not at exactly the same speed. So the samples are going out of phase what makes it very rhythmical. What he has done analog, we did digital. To point out the also shifting age of time and technique.”
