Stop Running and They Will Catch You - Electronic Explorations Compilation

This track is a bit of a sound experiment. It started with me letting off a dynamite banger at the top of a deep wooded valley at 4 in the morning. I took along my binaural microphones and got a great recording, so I decided to play with it, slow it down, make a nice ambience with it. After sorting some nice slices I got a few lines down on the clarinet that I liked. I listen over and decided some pulsing pump organ would lift the track and then the addition of some (unconventional) trumpet and I was happy. Once I had the main instrumental/soundscape foundation down I was able to record some rhythm patterns and different percussive textures (bowed cymbals, different beaters on snares and hi hats) also adding a few production tweaks and a little piano and voice to pull it all together. I really enjoyed making it. I hope it's as enjoyable to listen to.
