Meltdown started broadcasting in February 2010 from the XT3 Amsterdam studio. The infection spread quickly through techno enthusiasts, and within a few months was traced to a worldwide base of fans throughout 46 known countries.The show is presented by legendary DJ/Producer, Carlos Bold, aka DJ BOLD and often features special guests and exclusive mix sessions from highly rated artists. The show is also highly unique in that it builds on DJ Bold's ability and reputation of blending all styles of techno, seemlesly into the mix, melting down beats, rhythms and audio soundscapes into one. Perfect for jamming in your car or strolling on the beach, or listening at home, it is techno to move you.

Meltdown also gives updates and news about upcoming parties, record releases, and previews new tracks from different established and upcoming artists. Meltdown also brings you sessions from some of the residents of the finest clubs and festivals from all over the world by way of special exclusive recorded sessions. This enables Meltdown to deliver to you an unprecedented range of Djs and artists!

Now located in Amsterdam/Holland,DJ Bold has been able to continue his Dj work around Europe. Due to the phenomenal success of the Meltdown radio broadcast and interest from many promoters,Carlos Bold decided to launch His “Melt The Clubs” Tour. This is an ongoing festival and club tour heavily promoted via the Meltdown radio show which features artists associated with Meltdown.So far dates have included Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Sydney, Adelaide, Germany and Czech Republic.

The focus of the show is pure sonic audio techno mayhem, designed to melt your system.Techno that moves you in both the mind and the body. All styles of techno go into this mix where Carlos Bold and some very special guests will be Melting down tribal, funky, groovy, melodic, old school and harder techno.
