About

Born and raised in the Southern Region of Argentina in the beautiful city of Bariloche, Juan Tomás Roselló (aka Mekas) started working with Pablo Denegri, Enrique Casal a.k.a. Qik and Milena Pafundi for the audiovisual experimental project TEKHNE, performing as a live act with hardware and djing around the Buenos Aires underground scene.
His productions have been released in other major international labels such as Der Hut (DE), Igloo-rec (AR), Monocline (PT), Black Place (ES), Divided Records (IT) and collaborated with Minuscule (US), Esperanza Records (ES), Dual Musik (ES), Genesa Records (SP), Woods and Bass (CO), Earlydub rec (FR), Frucht (DE) among others, and he also became an active member of the acclaimed Argentinean Igloo-rec Label and Aula Magna crew as well. Since his debut EP Luciernagas, Mekas has been playing his music in major clubs, festivals and diverse stages of Buenos Aires. Sharing booth with artists like Appleblim, Seph, Papol, Nico Purman, pfirter, Jonas Kopp, Pablo Denegri and Dilo, just to name a few.
2011 became an exciting year on his career, since his acclaimed project with Pablo Denegri on the album Chakal was reedited on CD, followed by tours around South America and Europe.
