Zezo One is often considered a pioneer US DnB MC. From 1994 to present day, Zezo has been rockin mics as a Jungle/DnB MC coast to coast and prior to Jungle/DnB, was considered one of the top battle MCs in Denver- consistently winning or at least placing in the top 3 at every competition entered.
With over 15 years in the game and multiple residencies across the US, many come and try to test, but all but a few can actually hang. Whether on stage rockin mics, or behind the scenes working as an Engineer/Producer/Remixer, music is his business and business is good...
Originally hailing from Denver, CO., he relocated to NYC in Summer of 97. There he became resident MC @ the World Famous Konkrete Jungle NYC, as well as holding residencies @ Direct Drive NYC, I HEART DNB, Fusion, Izzy Bar and many others over the years.
After 10 years in NYC, Zezo One again relocated, this time heading west to Los Skandelous and then onto the current homebase- Sucka Free City aka SF aka Tha Bay, where he hit the ground running and since that time has had opportunities to play some of the biggest & baddest DnB events in America, including Electric Daisy Carnival '07, Together As One '08, I LOVE LA, Sin City 2, World of Drum-n-Bass '07,'08,'09 (SF and Miami).
Currently, Zezo One is locking himself in the lab, collaborating with 2Cents (Compression SF/World of DnB US), Lukeino (subLife Recs/ Reflex, SF), DJ Calculon (Rubik Recs, SD), Heavy Hittahz (Nemesis Recs, LA) and has locked down residencies in both LA and SF working with GHETTO LIFE/TONZ OF DRUMZ LA as well as REFLEX SF, SHELTER SF, BADNB, and of course, regularly guests at the COMPRESSION SF parties along with MCs The Colonel, Axiom MC & Audio Angel.
