About
orn in 1987 in a family with a highly developed interest in music, this artist had already learned to play several instruments before getting in touch with Reggae and the Rasta culture in his early teens. After hearing vocalists such as Buju Banton, Sizzla Kalonji, and Gentleman, he grabbed the mic and sang over tracks the way old school deejay's used to do back in the days in Jamaica. Being a messenger on stage, he soon took the name 'MessenJah'. His knowledge of Jungle and Drum and Bass served him well when the Dubstep blast hit Belgium some years later. Today, MessenJah is more active then ever before, hosting Belgian artists such as Point.Blank, Eptic, Harmony, and Science, and international acts such as Bar9, Aphrodite, Dub Phizix, Benny Page, The Others, Bare Noize, and Drumsound & Bassline Smith. One of Belgian's leading Dubstep hosts, a highly respect reggae toaster, and a friend of many, MessenJah is ready to rock your party.
