Number 40 is here and it is a doosy. Seriously this is entire mix is one of those where you pop it in and just sit back and listen to it. Some drum n bass mixes are rapid fire, while others get really deep and others just stay with a theme throughout and as great as those are sometimes it is good when mixes start at one place and take you to another, this session throughout does so. Really impressed with Mainframe’s set as he mixes hard banging tunes, amen sounds with some hip hop laced tuneage throughout and it is always a treat when DJ/Producers on these sessions lace us with some of their original works as he does. DTraxx’s mix starts off with a classic, moves into the jump up, floats around with aggressive dnb sounds and overall in the short span of 37 minutes pulls off a great mix of bridging a lot of sub-genres into a cohesive mix. Seriously this #40 is a gem of a mix.
