Infiltrata gives us a ridiculous look at what one of the killah producer/DJs of the TekDubz camp has on his mind musically as of late and ohhh my goodness if this is not one bad fukkin’ mix I don’t know what is. In the words of Kanye West and the Game, “That’s that Crack Music”. Living, Eating, Sleeping and of course Shittin’ drum n bass, the passion of one of the music’s most gifted artist comes through loud and clear on this mix. From the jump he gets his fellow TekDubz soldiers, Mental Sharp (MC Armanni and MC Sharpness), to blaze a “Kingdome Come Freestyle” and flips it drum n bass style. If you are gonna rip from one of the best MCs ever, Jay-Z, you better do it properly and Infiltrata and the boys do this remix justice like that blind chick holding the scales!!! Photek’s remix of Tubby T’s, “Ready She Ready” is such a massive dropping tune while “Big Shutdown” brings together Mason, D*Star and Focus with a classic Groovrider radio interview sample (it is hilarious if you know the back story). Capital J, the highly decorated and acclaimed scratch/turntablist DJ, lends his skill to the mix, by gracing some top flight cutting and scratching over the Intiltrata & Limewax tune “Ethio”, BLAAAAZIN’!!! Closing out the mix, Infiltrata gives us a sneak peak at the Infiltrata feat. MC DRE & MC XYZ tune, “Always Fitted Fresh” forthcoming on Jayvon’s label, Sugar Coded Records. Front, back, side to side in the words of Dave Chappelle playing Rick James, Infiltrata’s mix is “cold as ice”!!!!!

MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE!!!! One of the top producer/DJs stateside, Ewun aka Ewun “Tha Gun” aka (my new name for him) Ewun “Tha Motha Fukkin Gun”, delivers a hard hitting mix that left my jaw on the floor by the time it was done. Fuck I don’t even know where to begin in describing this mix because no words will do it justice. Laced with heavy sounds from from Ewun himself, Evol Intent, Spor and more, the future of stateside drum n bass is in good hands with cats like Ewun at the forefront. Every tune on here is heavy, but my favorites have to be “Screw Up (Living To Die VIP)” by Ewun which by now is a stateside anthem, also “Phone Tap” by Ewun is one killer tune. “Phone Tap” has a steppin’ beat will have anyone moving to it, trust. “Exodus” feat. KRS-1 produced by Noisia & Mayhem is ridiculous as one of the greatest MCs to touch a mic blesses this edgy tune with his vocals. Fuk there are too many songs to talk about (and I haven’t even touched on the Evol Intent boy’s tunes which you know are gonna light a fire under dat ass) ohh and the guest drops by some of the USA’s and industry’s finest just solidifies this mix as the one to cop. “Who da illest” . . . Ewun “Tha Motha Fukkin Gun”, nuff said!!!
