BIOGRAPHY:
MC Azzarati fell in love with rhyming and poetry at the age of 10 when he won a school poetry competition. He then started writing for his class mates for 'Show And Tell' and discovered he had a natural talent for flowing. Throughout High School he wrote hundreds of poems and featured in the Yearbook almost every year. With an older brother who loved Hip Hop, he soon followed in his footsteps and listened to a lot of "West Side" rap throughout his teens. In the early 2000's he moved to North Queensland and lived with his DJ brother and began tinkering with the microphone. Whilst learning to make songs on cheap programs and slowly progressing after moving back to the Gold Coast, it wasn't until 2008 when his father died that he completely turned his focus back to music. Without any friends or contacts in the game he realized he had to do it all himself and began really believing in 2011 when he made the state finals of the Aus Poetry Slam, narrowly missing out on the Australian Final. It was then that MC Azzarati was truly born as he began to invest in himself and began building a home studio and finally started using pro software. In 2012 he began studying Bachelor of Communications, but as he started stepping up the quality of his music he decided to put it on hold and concentrate on music. He is now using his rollercoaster struggles and experience as the fire and motivation for his sometimes powerful but heart strong lyrics.
