This is not a good version. It is disappointing coming from SG's own son Lulu. The bottom line is: what's the point of making a copy of a masterpiece?--- to sale it as a fake? --- A cover is good when it takes a step side way of the original, not a step further because most of us cannot achieve that. The LUNA version - thanks pw! - takes the risk, and I like it. The last quarter arrangement is bad - too cheap rock. The 'repetitive' approach' from start is good - until 3/4.

Many more songs of the upcoming album had been previewed back in November 2011 at http://www.valve-magazine.net/news/41/2770-serge-gainsbourg-from-gainsbourg-to-luluq--songs-im-stream

just awful.
the pace and performance removes any romance the original had, and accentuates how bad the timing is (see Scarlett's entrance). Not to mention emotionless vocal performances on top of dated production. I can't believe the best debut album Lulu could muster was to dig his father's corpse (even now more lustful than this recording). Both singers are so lucky to be where they are at all, but someone please reality check these vanity outlets - Fanfre
