“3 of the world’s biggest names in dance join forces to nail an absolute monster of a track from Pendulum…what are you waiting for?”
Sure to bed itself firmly as a soaring dance anthem, “The Island” is a perfect example of the heavy progressive sound that has emerged from the band’s desire to innovate their musical palette – an uplifting yet sinister atmosphere amongst a vicious attack of grinding beats and synths.
Steve Angello needs little introduction. As 33.3% of the Swedish House Mafia, the in your face and in demand elite collective, joins two of the hottest breakthrough electronic artists of 2010; Steve’s skilled sibling AN21 and new kid on the block Max Vangeli who are both responsible for the massive ‘Swedish Beauty’.

With their chart topping music played by Superstar DJs worldwide including Tiesto and David Guetta, the three heavyweights combine huge sonic distortion and thundering drum loops with their infectious and unmistakable dance floor production; turning Pendulum’s“The Island” into one of this years hottest remixes. The release will feature asa Beatport exclusive & Steve has had massive Beatport success this year with four number ones already under his belt – from KNAS, his edit of Harry Romero & Jnr Sanchez ‘Where You Are’ both on SIZE & ‘One’ & ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ with Swedish House Mafia, and we are sure “The Island” can round it off to 5…

Following Pendulum’s headlining sets at the Reading and Leeds festivals, the remix’s pumping synthesised melody and powerful vocals sparked a huge reaction at this years ADE in Amsterdam and has been one of the biggest tracks to feature in recent Swedish House Mafia’s sets.
The track will be released on Warner Records new dance label imprint, One More Tune, in association with Steve Angello’s Size Records.
