About

Having grown up under the influence of the hip hop movement, Canadian producer Maxime Miville happened upon a fork in the road and chose the path towards electronic music around the beginning of the millennium. He first began dabbling with the sample-heavy side of electronic music when he discovered the sound and breaks of the now infamous Ninja Tune record label. By also having many techno deejays as friends, it wasn't long until his interest in techno flourished and his production style followed suit. In 2008, after much practice and a lot of research and inspiration, Archipel Music label, forced him out of seclusion by promptly signing him up for his first techno release. The rest has yet to come. March 2009 will see the release of his "Runner's High EP" on Archipel, featuring remixes by Rico Puestl as well as Rico Casazaa. Maxime describes his style of techno as "deep, melodic and emotional". Indeed it is.
