This is the story of a Scottish outlaw ancestor of mine, who died in 1700 AD. Most of my songs were composed between 1970 and the present day. The Nursery Rhymes are not my lyrics but the arrangements are all my own. Chet McCracken, who was the drummer for The Doobie Brothers, Phil Collins, The Bonnie Raitt Band and many others at some point in those bands histories, was my drummer, percussionist, and keyboard player on my first two albums ("Big Plans" & "Ordinary Man"). My latest creations have been with a Moog 'Little Phatty' Stage II Synthesizer and a Moog E1 electric guitar. These instruments are probably some of the musical tools of the future. They are really a lot of fun. I've also been doing some slide guitar with my Martin 000C-16 GTE. It's very pleasing to the ear and simple for beginners. Most of my new work has been in the blues medium. Sometimes it's hard to live the blues but writing and playing in this genre is quite simple and rewarding. I plan to travel to northern California in November to play some of the coffee houses in the Santa Rosa area. You can email me at: emax@metrocast.net.
