The name Matttt has quickly become known as one of the brightest young
DJs to emerge in the Australian scene within the past few years,
having appeared with Tomass and Kato in a 3DWorld cover shoot at the
age of just 20. Despite only DJing professionally since May, 2006, he
has already appeared alongside and warmed up for names like Joris
Voorn, Nathan Fake, Paul Woolford, Nic Fanciulli, Deetron, Oliver
Koletzki, Danny Howells, Marco Carolla, Laurent Garnier, Dubfire,
Steve Lawler, Ellen Allien, Carl Craig, Sven Vath, John Digweed,
Gaiser, Marc Houle, Stefan Bodzin, Lee Burridge, Claude Von Stroke,
Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, Trentemoller, Marc Romboy, Desyn Masiello,
Stanton Warriors, Tom Neville, Malente, Jesse Rose, Bjorn Wilke, Ewan
Pearson, Hybrid, Shlomi Aber and the cream of Australia's local DJ

Now only 23, he has held residences at some of Sydney's biggest club
nights and is currently holding down a residency in the infamous Cave
at the Chinese Laundry. He has also played underground parties like
Bread & Butter, Sweetchilli, Lost Baggage, Spice, and more recently
The Box. 2009 saw him play at a number of festivals, including
Playground Weekender Good Vibrations, and Steresonic, and also
complete a number of high profile warmup sets for the likes of Nic
Fanciulli, Paul Woolford and Nathan Fake. In early 2010 his DJing
caught the eye of CR2 label boss Mark Brown, which has resulted into
his first foray into production, both in Sydney & London, where in
July he will complete production work at the CR2 studios.

His sound spans many genres, crossing the boundaries of deep house,
house and techno, and is at home whether kicking off the night in a
club or bringing it to a close. He has also had live and recorded
mixes appear on both Triple J and FBI radio.
