Composed for horn trio (tpt, tbn, horn), the ensemble is to be spread across a large darkened space (the piece has often been performed in amphitheatres and outdoor settings). The recording is from the premiere (concert performance) by the Yale Brass Trio, recorded in Berkman Auditorium at the Hartt School of Music in April 2008.
