Matt Effect original started his DJ career in Sydney, Australia. Since then, he has played in many other cities and countries around the world including New Zealand, Canada and USA.

Matt is mostly recognized for his work DJing for Harbour City Bears' for different parties including Underground Underbear and CHUNKY.

He has also been apart of BEAR ESSENTIALS (Sydney), SOUTHERN HIBEARNATION (Melbourne), BEAR NEW ZELAND (Auckland, NZ), BEARRACUDA (USA) and LAZY BEAR (Guerneville, CA) to mention a few.

His influences he believes are varied but doesn't also restrict the work he loves to be apart of whether it be bear, leather, pool party or day club related.
