2012 has seen Mathas take out the WAMI for Best Hip Hop Artist and a nomination for Most Popular Single with his song “White Sugar”. He has also shared the stage with RZA (US), Ghostpoet (UK), Shabazz Palaces (US) and The Tounge (AU) in addition to making the crossover into the indie/rock landscape supporting Abbe May (AU), Hayley Beth (AU) and The Bible Bashers (AU) for each of their most recent releases.

As a founding member of Perth music and arts collective The Community, Mathas has been heavily involved in the underground hip-hop and electronic music scene since 2004. Mathas released his debut album 10 Pound Hairless Sasquatch in 2009 through Paper Chain and The Community Records. In late 2011 he co-directed and edited his first filmclip "White Sugar" receiving high acclaim for its originality and message. His sophomore album Armwrestling Atlas is set for release in early 2013.
