Lot49 sees the release of the first new Outsider single in over a decade. In the mid nineties the Junior Boys own label was at the peak of its powers, releasing music from Underworld, the Chemical Brothers and X-Press 2 and amongst this triumvirate of soon to be pop stars came some of the best... Hi guys, you can now make a small donation to get this track released!
- Dual Shaman on November 01, 2009 10:35
@Dual Shaman: more details at http://musicslu.com/we-are-artists
- Nick Bugayev on November 01, 2009 16:10
@Dual Shaman: I would pledge for your track, not for the whole album. Why not set up a group purchae for your track only?
- Dual Shaman on November 01, 2009 17:37
@Nick Bugayev: that was our first thought,to release an EP ,but the site admin thought it would bring more people in if it was in a compilation album, because the site it is at it's early stage and it needs more users. will probably do that if the compilation album doesn't reach its goal. But anyways, thank you very much for considering to pledge

Why is this track sent to a group that is meant for ambient and experimental music? This attitude of sending tracks everywhere makes the idea of groups pointless, because people that keep on running across this kind of music just where they wish they could listen to ambient and experimental, eventually stop listening to music in this group at all. Please don't send your music to groups they don't belong to, because that ruind the experience of soundcloud to the other listeners. Thank you.
- Dual Shaman on October 18, 2009 10:39
@narcofunk: I'm very sorry if I've offended anyone, maybe out of mistake I've sent it to an ambient group, but I don't see the reason this shouldn't belong in an experimental soundcloud group!
- Dual Shaman on October 18, 2009 10:40
@narcofunk: PS it is not sent to any bloody ambient group WTF are you talking about!
- Shaun Mauren on October 18, 2009 10:49
@narcofunk: Wft dude? who that hell you think you are to come and speak like that? Just leaves us alone and live in you small world by youself ok?
- Shaun Mauren on October 18, 2009 10:53
@Shaun Mauren: WTF dude?!?!? Who tha hell you think you are? We can send track to wherever we want it's nothing to do with you? Go and live your shitty life on your own!!! If you are offended because they send a track that doesn't suit your taste, that's your fu****g problem ok?! Sad c***t.......... =S
- Dual Shaman on October 18, 2009 10:56
@Shaun Mauren: whooahh this guy pissed you off more than he did piss me off :))). though it's great to see you on our side ,thanks!
- Shaun Mauren on October 18, 2009 11:14
@Dual Shaman: Hate to see this kinda of people here mate, trying to show up or something, we are here to have good time share music etc, not to argue that's for sure.
- Dual Shaman on October 18, 2009 11:19
@Shaun Mauren: Dam right, what pissed me off the most is that he excluded the possibility of us sending the track by accident, the guy has to think twice before posting something like that!
- Dual Shaman on October 18, 2009 11:23
@Dual Shaman: wait a minute, check out his other comments! this guys is a sad f**k
-
@Dual Shaman: EVERYBODY who spams like you says "whoops, sorry it was an accident". Accident my balls, i don't want spammers in groups i moderate, so if you do, you take your load of shit. Who the fuck am I? Somebody that wants to keep at least his groups CLEAN. And to reply to the question "why shouldn't it be on an experimental group", well, the fact that this is not experimental should be enough.
- Shaun Mauren on October 18, 2009 17:08
@narcofunk:could you possibly get more boring?! Don't you have anything better to do?! Go for a mix or make some experimental shitty tracks mate, do us a favour please? I think you are suicidal mate need to see the doctor asap before you take your own life or kill someone ......lol ridiculous mate indeed... =S
-
@Shaun Mauren: Unfortunately, i care about the music that is sent to my groups. If you don't like it, don't spam your tracks there. Or, to do a favour to everybody on soundcloud, only send them where it's got sense. http://tinyurl.com/yhg4tfm
- Shaun Mauren on October 18, 2009 17:20
@narcofunk: If haven't notice, the track is not mine, and "Your groups"?!?!?
- Shaun Mauren on October 18, 2009 17:22
@Shaun Mauren: I think the people that belong to your groups woudn't be impressed by wht you've been posting here...end of......
- Shaun Mauren on October 18, 2009 17:28
@narcofunk: i hear you mate....
-
@shaun Mauren: I am not interested in what you think about my music, that is a childish arguement. What i am interested in is to give some sense to the idea of groups, because what you are defending ruins it for a lot of people. http://tinyurl.com/yhg4tfm
- Dual Shaman on October 18, 2009 17:36
@narcofunk: WOW,you still think I wanted to fucking SPAM? then why don't I have the track sent to Country Music and Latino groups!?To all fucking Groups on this site,eh..? Jesus !
-
@Dual Shaman: I don't have the time to check where you guys send all your tracks, and i couldn't care less anyway, i care about the groups i moderate and hopefully make them better places for people who simply want to listen to certain kinds of music without being bugged by spammers that send their dancefloor tracks to an ambient/experimental group, or their minimal liveset to a deep house group. That is pointless.
- Dual Shaman on October 18, 2009 17:53
@narcofunk: Well if you don't have the time, then why you open your big fat mouth? I got the idea, you want to be Soundcloud's Gay Zorro or smth, that's fine with me,but don't you dare call me a Spammer 'cause you don't know what the hell you are talking about,OK!?
-
@Dual Shaman: Sending a dancefloor track to an ambient/experimental group is spamming, disregarding how many other groups had to take your spam and your childish insults, it's that simple.
-
@Dual Shaman: Hey narcofunk, why don't you stop wasting your time leaving comments on people's tracks, and actually give them a listen? Who gives a fuck where people put they're tracks? Stop taking out your silly little aggressions on artists trying to promote their work. Isn't that what the site is for? I don't like spammers, but I really can't stand assholes like you.
- Dual Shaman on October 18, 2009 18:02
@narcofunk: TO MAKE THINGS CLEAR FOR YOU:
- Dual Shaman on October 18, 2009 18:05
@Dual Shaman: First of all,the name of your group is EXPERIMENTAL. Now.... Does EXPERIMENTAL=AMBIENT , no , CAN a DANCE TRACK be EXPERIMENTAL...YES. DO I have the liberty to believe that this particular track is EXPERIMENTAL, YES . What more do you want ...
-
@Xenon Fox: Promoting is ok as long as it takes place in the right way and in the right place. In no way it can ruin the experience for the other people(and you can see on the feedback board for soundcloud that i am not the only one that's pissed off by this). Why should someone that posted the right track in the right group have to see his stuff buried by worthless spam? Why should someone that wants to listen to some particular kind of music run across "techno monster" in a group that is meant for esperimental music?
-
@Dual Shaman: Yeah, i too could make a random dancefloor track and send it to a rock music group because "i believe it is rock music". But that is pointless, because people in that group wouldn't want to listen to it.
-
@narcofunk: Hell, set your insane groups to moderated, moderate the tracks and stop bothering other people. Please, go away!
-
Haha, the silly bastard! Nice track you guys!
- Dual Shaman on October 22, 2009 19:36
@mattheis: :)))) thanks mate, how are things your way?
-
@BONECOLD: Then asnwer a couple of question bone, if you don't mind. What is "experimental", and in what way is this "experimental music" and not "techno music"? Is playing with knobs of a synth "experimenting with music"? Terry Riley is peeing himself in this moment.
- Dual Shaman on November 04, 2009 15:14
@narcofunk: Oh,not you again, you are not welcome here!?Dam,my blood pressure is hitting the sky right now! Go away!
-
@Dual Shaman: Why should i not answer where i am mentioned and attacked? This was closed for me.
- Dual Shaman on November 04, 2009 15:25
@narcofunk: You can answer without being disrespectful ,"playing with knobs on a synth",wtf? If you weren't so cocky and arrogant ,no one would attack you in any way
-
@narcofunk: Experimental actions are those with outcomes that cannot be forseen. "is playing with knobs of a synth experimenting with music?" well since the early 1950's the term experimental music was mainly connected with computer-controlled compositons. this piece sounds more like a monster than techno, for me anyway. the progression of the track is filled with dark intensity. The drums are very abstract, almost alien. definately not resembling drum sounds you normally hear in any genre of music. Personally, i think the sounds used here are very experimental, widening the pallette of the tracks final composition, like you can hear some 'Techno' far away in the distance, but have never heard the genre before, then re-creating what it might sound like.
-
@Dual Shaman: cocky, arrogant and disrespectful? you spammed your track to dozens of groups, isn't that disrespectful to the people that only send their tracks where they belong to see them quickly sent to page 12 of the group by spammed tracks? I asked you to not spam your tracks to where they do not belong and i received insults, is that respectful for you? please let's not start acting the victims now.
-
@BONECOLD: Yeah, "techno" is so distant that the track itself is tagged as techno. And by my part, i can only say that i heard the "very abstract drums" often enough in radio broadcasts and dancefloors. That said, i never argued about the quality of the music itself.
- Dual Shaman on November 04, 2009 17:36
@narcofunk: uhm,I've sent the track to groups that have a tangency with what the tune represents,if there are dozens of groups of techno, progressive, what should I do? But you do have a point,we are not the victims, thanks to your comments, the track has got a lot of attention,so...a round of applause for Narcofunk, yeeeeeey! :|
-
@Dual Shaman: All musics are experimental..Relax guys !!!
-
@ZRK: boys, boys. Nice track, listened to the whole thing whilst reading this thread, now I'll have to listen to it again :) Narcofunk take it easy, I know you're a good guy really, just stop labouring the point baby
- Put Beyond Use on November 17, 2009 21:37
Nice one dudes, sounds pretty bitchin'. What a fuss!
-
I believe that this track is experimental as it's evolving techno, pushing limits, and creating new/different standards.
