Martin was born in Brussels in July 1987 and still lives there, began to mix in 2007 on two vinyl turntables and still use it.

His first steps into the world of decks are made on the speed construction of drum & bass and gradually he ventured into the sunniest world of reggae, dub and jungle.

Throughout the meetings, the curiosity and the evolution of music that drives him to listen all kind of sounds, he met the Dubstep who had chained him to his hell bass's and demonic rhythms. In a very short time he devotes a real cult to Digital Mistikz, Skream and Plastician.

With time and the (little) experience he has, Mastawan is now trying to mix every style of dubstep and tried to mix with other styles he particularly likes.

Today Mastawan listen: hip-hop, dubstep, reggae, dub, rocksteady, early reggae, roots, funk,jungle, techno, houserock & roll and many other unclassifiable styles...
