About
Grew up in the 60s ,started fiddling with music in the 70s ,liked spacey stuff with synths,had a punk group,had a post punk group on Factory Records called Biting Tongues,did a lot of experimenting with studio stuff-learnt to be a sound engineer,got into midi and synths in the mid 80s, formed 808 STATE to make acid house in 1988 ,-did alright with that, had some big tunes and albums on ZTT and Tommy Boy.
Did touring , got back into live playing formed Toolshed a monthly club for electronica while the house band explored computers with live musicians,Also played in Homelife a similar recording project out of MCR on Ninja tune.
Do solo electronica gigs as Massonix (have album on SKAM),Have an all girl organ quartet called Sisters of Transistors which is about writing for a ltd pallet of retro keyboards ,
