After a week in NYC rehearsing and performing for Miguel's Bird with Strings Charlie Parker Tribute project, we both flew back to LA, stepped off the plane and straight into the LA County Museum of Art to perform a one-hour fully improvised hand-made-as-it-happened, no preconceptions duo set for Dublab at LACMA's annual Muse 'til Midnight event. It was really something special and unique to perform there, surrounded by amazing contemporary art and the audience taking us in as the organic soundtrack to the exhibitions on display. Here's excerpts from our improvisations that night - it was our first time performing straight duo and there will definitely be more to come!
Miguel Atwood-Ferguson - viola + FX
Mark de Clive-Lowe - Maschine, Juno 6 + Kaoss Pads

@mashibeats: Sounds very nice man, really love the synthetic atmospheres and flow. Just you and a drummer? By the way just bought a cd: Tunnelvision - Rob van der Wouw Really great from beginning till end. Superb blend of acoustic and electronic. Wich synth do you use there for bass? the sound gives me chicken bumps :-)
