This is Masamune. A name adopted from the great Japanese swordsmith, Priest Gorō Masamune, as well the iconic 17th century daimyo Date Masamune and of course the blade from the Final Fantasy series. Masamune was formed in late 2011 out of fun and undying passion for beats and bass. Hailing from the United States, Masamune got his start producing a Dubstep remix for Belgium Psy-Trance group Psy-Aviah and was featured on the OK/Virtual Gods EP alongside M.I.K.E. (once known as Push) and Radical G. Since then Masamune has been constantly pushing the limits on his production with multiple releases on the Italian bred Conga Records. He has since developed a strong obsession with fusing Bass music with grand orchestral elements and deep melodic tones. With several crisp productions under his belt, Masamune exists for one reason only, to bring a unique flavor of mayhem and beauty to the world of Bass music.
