Marty Funkhauser, man, myth, shit talker, funk maker hails from the thriving metropolis of Taber Alberta. He recently returned to his roots in Lethbridge Alberta after honing his skills, terrorizing people and crafting his signature grease funk sound for the past ten years in Vancouver, B.C. Martys sound is a combination of all things funky, dirty, quirky or much like himself just plain weird. On any given night you can here him seamlessly travel between funky breaks,booty, latin,classic speed garage, jackin disco house and ghetto funk.A meticulous track selector and a love for smooth, long tight interesting mixes make this loveable scamp a complete joy to watch. His prime directive is fun and feeding your funky addiction to dance floor jams. He has past gigs at Vancouver's legendary Lotus and Celebrities clubs as well as GInger 62, Lick,Pulse, J-Lounge,the Alibi Room and is a regular with the Basswworks crew here in Lethbridge at there biweekly Impulse night and other parties.Marty is also a part of the Symmetry House League and has played with them at EDfest and Sync Fest.
