The history of the band Marty DeLay goes back to 2001 when I was looking for a band who's goal was to play a more melodic form of metal. At the time, I was playing in the band Corruption. The bandmembers in Corruption was Me: Guitars, Patrik: Bass and Eddie on drums. Corruption split-up in year of 2001 soon after they have had their first two live performances. The band I formed after Corruption was called, "Mace" and the band only recorded three tracks which was never released.

Three years later we decided to record four new songs at Los Angered Recording, Gothenburg, Sweden.
I hired the awesome drummer, Daniel 'Mojjo' Moilanen for this session, and the recording went fine. After another three years, I felt that the four songs that were recorded in 2005 (one track being an instrumental), needed to be re-recorded with new vocals.
I also added some new lyrics, as I felt those were a little 'outdated' By coincidence, I got a hold of another extremely talented musician, by the name of Doug Stokes.
Doug has now completed all three tracks and has done an outstanding job.
Truly a professional musician. The result is awesome.

Also, my great friend Therese, helped me out a lot and gave me the idea for the album cover. It's the cover artwork from the demo you see here right now, that I made. The model is of course my friend, Therese. I owe her a lot!

Meanwhile, I'm busy writing and recording the next 13 songs for the fullength album, 'Feelings answered, confession denied'.
All the lyrics have been written and so far, 3 songs has been recorded in full.
