About

Martin Fry

Martin Fry’s DJ “coming of age” story began as a young house enthusiast actively attending many music and dance clubs in and around Chicago in the early 80’s. His love for the art fueled a desire to create it, so in 1990 he acquired his first set of equipment. His drive and talent had him learning and honing his skills in no time. Natural progression led him to music production in 2000. Now, as a solo act and as a duo with friend and production partner Chizo (Fry & Chizo), he has been gaining notoriety, support and airtime in the booths of several major national and international DJs. Successful production collaborations with the likes of Ralphi Rosario and David Knapp have solidified him as a strong circuit force. Fry and Chizo’s works may also be found on prominent music sites such as Beatport, Itunes and Traxsource.

Fry’s style is a mix of progressive-tribal house with explosive and energetic tracks that are laced with sexy vocals. He has studied and/or performed with some of the biggest names in the business including Peter Rauhofer, Chus & Ceballos, Rosabel, Paulo and Alyson Calagna. His impressive range, extensive knowledge and ability to adapt to his audience have earned him a ‘chameleon of styles’ reputation. Talents on the tables have placed him in prominent clubs from Miami, to Seattle, to a steamy afterhours in San Francisco. In his now hometown of Atlanta, Fry has been featured at major events such as Atlanta Pride and Peach Party.

Martin Fry’s extensive resume, useful experience and obvious skills have made him a well-rounded DJ and producer worthy of praise. Check out his latest productions and sets on Soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com/martin-fry) and look out for his appearances in a city near you!
