In the post The King of Limbs world, anything Radiohead puts out is immediately checked out by Radiohead fanatics, and it seems like Thom Yorke, who finds himself in an electronic-only mindset, has picked up on this. While "Little by Little" was originally bland, relying on a vocal hook, it's saved here by Caribou's added keyboard.
