Mars Vertigo began his career as a DJ early in 2009 after years of passive consuming vast and various genres of EDM. His eternal love affair with EDM began in 2006, on an extremely stormy night where a sudden spark of intensified inspiration was born. Mars accidentally discovered Friskyradio.com by shuffling randomly internet radio stations in his browser. Facundo Mohrr and Nicholas van Orton-Little Robots show was on air. He was presented into the powerful and imaginative world of progressive house; music practically unknown to him. He immediately forged an unwavering love and appreciation which has governed his very existence ever since
In year 2009, his enthusiasm turned to hunger, hunger for deep, dark tones, wicked beats and powerful, rolling ,solid bass lines. He has blood thirst for the sinister, dark house and techno genres. To satisfy this thirst he enjoys creating endless linear storyline mixes that take the listener on a journey. When in the club, Mars is not satisfied until the dancefloor is screaming with orgasm.
Mars is a dynamic DJ with the ability to mix virtually any blend of EDM for hours. Clubwise he has performed in most of the top underground clubs in Bristol, UK, where he resides: Dojo, Timbuk2,Motion, Crash Mansion, Day & Night, Basement45 and others.
His contemporary musical taste is an interesting blend of two pronged approach. On one side, there is deep romantic bond with dreamy, melancholic and dark progressive melodies and on the other a bestial dark instinctive discourse with incredibly dark beats of techno & minimal genre. In order to satisfy these tastes thoroughly and be able to share them frequently with a larger audience, he has been a resident on two designated radio shows of his on two different stations:
The first regular radio show runs on Insomnia.FM named VISIONS NOIR, which is on air every 2nd Tuesday of a month for a hour from 5:00 PM GMT. (http://www.insomniafm.com/artists/1345-mars-vertigo.html). This show compromises mostly progressive sound.
The second show is also a regular monthly radio show on http://www.fnoob.com (techno) which is fluctuating on a rotary Saturday of each month. This show is primed on pure demonology expressed via Dark Techno&Minimal and adjacent genres. Echoes are run via demoniacal chapters dedicated to various inhabitants of the planes of Goetia.
