Born and raised in Washington, D.C. Marquise Lightfoot has gone by many rap names, but now goes by Franchise (The Young God). Lightfoot was inspired to rap at a young by his uncles William [Chi (Play) on Souncloud & @ willfelt on twitter] and Daniel (hosea black on Souncloud) during living room freestyle battles and song writing sessions during free time. Franchise has gone by Arsenik, Punchline and even his last name Lightfoot. In middle and high school he started writing songs and recording them on his own. Now he records, mixes, writes, and publishes his songs on his laptop. Franchise has released one mix tape in August of 2013 titled "Identity Crisis" which was released on: Datpiff, Hot New Hip Hop, and Souncloud. Now Marquise is working on his second t solo tape "The Journal Entry" trying to find his sound as an artist and taking part in other music and business ventures.
