A song I wrote about homophobia in the wake of 14 year old Jamey Rodemeyer's suicide. Jamey was bullied constantly because of his sexuality. In this song the victim of such bullying (by a lad on a drunken bender) imagines a friend who will stand up for him and protect him from mindless harassment and the religious extreme right wing who turn a blind eye to such happenings. This song scored above-average points when I entered it into the UK Songwriting Contest in 2012.
