EXPERIMENTAL for musicians who stray from set formats and genres
A brief experimental soundscape. I created a custom patch in Absynth 5. I'm sending MIDI notes from an Ableton Live clip to Absynth. This causes Oscillator A to play a fractalized waveform that is morphed by a stepping envelope. Oscillator B is set to "Audio" and I'm routing field recording samples playing in Live audio clips to this Oscillator. Oscillator C is a single hybrid waveform. This oscillator's Amp, Pitch and Morph params are modulated live audio signals routing through Oscillator B using "Audio Mod". The first audio clip is a field recording from an old morse code key. The second clip is found sound I recorded of the crowd at a CU basketball game. The pulsing nature of the sound during the crowd section is a result of AMP envelope on Oscillator B.

@Lux_Seeker: Hey Lux thanks! You know I really enjoy doing the elctro-acoustic pieces and think your right that I should do more. I feel less pressure when doing them to get them album perfect as part of the appeals is that they are organic and improvisational. I'm about to post out on twitter on some alternative "rigs" for doing more of this sort of work.

Mark:
You should do more electro-acoustic works. Great work. I always love composition that use transitions from one sound to another but connect them by some sonic device in this case rhythm. The fractal waveform is also great. Very textural.

@kmiah: The audio is morse code is warped, the crowd is not and is playing back at original speed.

Did you warp your field recordings to a tempo or is this freeform?

You definitely highlight how to use all the virtual knobs. I may be stuck on hardware, but it is refreshing to see you do so much in software.
