About
Mark Fanciulli is fast becoming one of the UK’s most sought after DJ’s.
Following last year's success on Rejected with "The Tide", 2012 has seen him progress with more popular releases, a busy touring schedule and a feature on Pete Tong's "15 Minutes of Fame".
His single “Sacrifice” which was released on Saved early in the year created an initial buzz at Miami WMC, then went on to gain support from DJ's across the spectrum, resulting in being nominated for best single at DJ Mag's Best Of British awards.
He has travelled extensively across Europe, including a great season in Ibiza, playing for Kehakuma @ Space, El Row @ Privilege and Renaissance @ Pacha. Gigs followed in Central & South America, as well as an Australian tour. A real highlight of the year was when Mark was booked to warm up for John Digweed at Bedrock’s Anniversary at Fire in London, which saw him gain a new army of followers.
Approached by many labels to do remixes this summer, Mark chose to remix one of his favourite tracks, Rampa's "Everything" released on Defected, which reached number 3 in the Beatport House chart.
Not willing to restrict himself to just one category and wanting to remain as diverse as possible, he was back in the studio with his head down and open to a myriad of influences. His latest release on Leena "The Cutoff EP" is a testament to this.
With the recent announcement of Detroit Premiere Artists managing Mark's bookings for the U.S. alongside Paramount Artists for the rest of the world, 2013 is set to be Mark's busiest yet, with up and coming dates in Asia and continuing with his recently launched Deleted imprint which will showcase his sounds.
