What have mind-controlled artists like Nicki Minaj, predictive programming in music videos, dumbed-down lyrics, and the systematic degeneration of artists like Jay-Z and Kanye West got in common? They all get covered in this candid, no-limits discussion as Mark Devlin chats to fellow UK DJ Storm, aka Stormski, alongside MC Double L, two guys who very much know what time it is.

The music industry's agenda towards social engineering is put into the wider context of the Orwellian control system which is stepping up its game big-time in the wake of a global awakening to truth and consciousness. Rarely have the manipulations of the music industry been discussed in such a broad perspective. It's time to strip away the facade, step off the fence and expose the blatant hijacking of the game.

(Apologies for the far-from-ideal sound quality of this interview, by the way, which was recorded 'on the road' so to speak, with a few technical challenges, but hopefully the quality of the information far outweighs the glitches!)

@Andrew Wainwright: I write a lot about politics, of which much has been published in the MSM- write about music- get e-mails censored, blogs removed by the paid-for server (even with a webmaster's e-mail address for complaints/violations clearly stated) . Something is going on that's f**d!

I noticed the year 1997 crop up. In that year, suddenly I developed "schizophrenia" and have been put on meds since. Now, drugs had an effect and I wouldn't recommend them. But in the sober light of day, in the paranoid "delusions" there was an element of truth there- especially the massive change in music then, and a deep feeling of sadness. Oddly just before being taken ill, I became obsessed about Diana depite having no previous interest in royals. I woke up at the exact time of her death in the psych ward, and suddenly my trip ended. I'm not embittered by this, but saddened as music is my life, and I chose this life because I love the power of music for promoting love and peace. Seeing the music scene attacked from all sides- clubs, record industry, state, police, the lot is heartbreaking. Seeing the "industry" fight musician against each other, colour against colour, even brother against brother effin' sucks. Thank you for your brave and informative podcast, have liked and shared- all my experiences in the music industry link into this. I don't care about my career, I do care about music, call us loonies, and we might not know even the truth but at least we're trying to give it our best shot.

The thing I find interesting about pyramids is that I believe the actual symbol of the pyramid is something quite powerful in a positive way (I hope). I noticed it starting to surface in abstract digital art several years ago and what it got me interested in was sacred geometry and an alternative view of ancient history. All things that seem to be anti-establishment and very humanistic.

      @ConspiroMedia: Hi mate,

Many thanks for taking the time to comment on the podcast. I couldn't have put it better myself, and have to agree with all your observations. I also sent your comments to Storm and Double L for their interest.

Be sure to check back on the Soundcloud page every now and again, as I'll be adding some new volumes in due course.

Just going to check out your blog.

      All the best,

I don't normally add comments to radio-shows or websites I come across, but I'm making an exception here purely for the fact that so much of what has been discussed here has resonated with me on a personal level. Having been a club DJ and (sometime) radio presenter over the last 26 years, I would have to agree with much of what has been raised during this interview. Yes... mainstream radio has been effectively castrated - yet another display of how the dreaded 'Pyramid System' buys up small independent bodies and then places them under a centralised 'umbrella' - all controlled by effectively half a dozen large major entities which then dismantle any signs of originality, vibrance, individualism and sense of youthful, raw urgency. An example? Look what happened to 'Kiss FM' following it's transformation from a pirate to a commercially-owned radio-station. This is just one of countless examples.

With some regret, I also have to agree with the comments regarding 'punters' who visit clubs and bars every weekend and their incessant need for crap, banal drivel passing itself off as "music". I too have tried my utmost to promote and play just a small a selection of the many new and exciting tracks which are released on a weekly basis only to be met with confusion and bemusement from a majority who want nothing but Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and all the other usual suspects. With my hand on my heart, I can declare with some certainty that 'club culture' was never like this 'back in the day' - this is a recent problem. There doesn't appear to be a desire or a hunger for originality within the mainstream youth culture as there once was.
I'd also come to the conclusion that I was the only DJ experiencing this (no... honestly!) . After having listened to this interview, I've now found I'm not alone and I totally empathise with the views expressed ('totally').
Any way... I've rambled enough (sorry guys... bad habit).

Mark (and guys). Good stuff! Keep it up!

Great work lads. Music manipulation of youngsters and the so called stars goes way back before idiots like jay z. How many stars have also been into the occult and sold their souls.

@Blaepamchu: There may well be some truth in the idea that some labels/ promoters have seen the marketing value in tapping into 'conspiracy theory' stuff, in the same way that 'illuminati' is now banded around as a cool buzzword in certain circles. A very cynical tactic and irresponsible if that's the case, as the real manipulators behind the music industry are not playing, and have nothing but the illest of intent in mind for humanity. This is not a game.

      Mark Devlin at 15.04 on August 25, 2012 02:16

@O.C.D Open Closed Doors: Indeed. Symbols in themselves are never inherently evil. It's all about the will and intent that they've been charged with by those who are using them. Any association with those particular symbols by others will then energetically connect with the original intent, and reinforce it.

Found you via a link on Excellent podcast on a very serious subject and I hope and pray enough people wake up and educate their children about what's really going on before we all have to suffer the effects of lost generation devoid of empathy and compassion.

May I resepectfully recommend taking a look at Vigilant Citizen's website at which focuses on this very same topic of mind controlled "pop" stars in great detail. I should add that I have no affiliations, just passing the information on in the hope of spreading the word.

Many thanks for putting this out there!

@dielectrix: It doesnt take more than a quick listen to most of todays popular music to realise that there is some kind of evil behind it.

    • dielectrix
      dielectrix at 36.54 on August 24, 2012 16:37

and given the popularity of conspiracy theories, is it not possible that the press agents and pluggers are using it to appeal to a bigger audience ina a dying industry? conspiracy theory is the new alternative culture.

i agree that these kids putting their hands up in this symbolic manner is worshiping evil... hoever the triangle itself represents the hidden knowledge of the Holy Trinity of Mind, Body & Sprit. Just a powerful sacred geometric shape that has been hijacked by a secret society... why, cos they have all the hidden knowledge about symbols, energy etc...
