DJ/Producer Mario Maroto started his career as a DJ more than 13 years ago. During this time he played and headlined at basically every single club in Costa Rica, including the famous Club Vertigo incalculable times.
He has also rocked clubs from the east to the west coast of the united states including Club Space in Miami, Skyline, The Electric Pickle The Womb, The Crown Room in Portland, Bossanova Ballroom, BC's and several other venues around the Northwest of the US as well as Barcelona, Spain for the Sonar Festival.

After making a move to Miami, Florida in 2008 Mario started producing and his music has been released on several labels from around the globe such as 82 Recordings, Land of Voodoo Recordings, Half Seas Over Recordings, Killing Machine Records, Subsensory Recordings, Nude Photo Music, Logical Records from Spain, Green Horn Rec. from Berlin and Wehppa Music from Miami. His tracks are and have been played and supported by some of the most well known DJ's worldwide, including Dubfire and Steve Lawler, Ida Engberg, Audiofly, Jonny Cruz, Dsan Powell, Hugo, Mario Miranda, Kabuto&Koji, Mobius Strum and Ray Okpara amongst many others.

Mario Maroto is also one third of the "Amore e Psiche" proiect with fellow friends jonny Cruz and Joel Latimer (Cocoon) on wich they make some very groovy , melodic deep sexy and slower nu disco.

His mixes are all surgically precise and harmonically fluent in a much sought out manner.
