With a resonant and intriguing voice, Marie Glad is a corde lisse dancer balancing between pop, electro, indie, jazz. She is a Swedish singer, songwriter but also experienced visual artist, filmmaker and yoga instructor today based in the UK. 2009 she was recognised for her debut album Rescue Me with reviews such as ”Her voice is as timeless and beautiful as Joni Mitchell’s and her lyrics warm and sensitive”. Bedroom Stories is her second album. Loverboy, part of Bedroom Stories part one was played on 40 radio stations across India during December 2010 and January 2011. The video "Rescue Me" was featured on Strictly Global Show to 15 million homes in the US on December 24, 2010 . In September 2011 she released Bedroom Stories Part Two, produced in the UK by Rob Spectrum and Oisin Lunny. Together with Oisin Lunny she has formed the constellation Duvestar, also registered as their own star with the co-ordinates 19:08:51.786+31:14:17.13 in the constellation of Lyra. Marie Glad is an independent artist releasing her music through her own record label Royal Sister.

Bedroom Stories is a trilogy of electroacoustic pop stories about love in all it’s dimensions and forms. Part one is about love towards him and contains Loverboy, Stay and Butterfly (released in Dec 2010). With honest songwriting, icy cold synths and angular New Wave ”Marie Glad captures the essence of 'Broken English', Marianne Faithful's ground breaking 1979 album”. Part two is about love towards her and contains Don’t Give Up, This World and Mirrors (released in Sept 2011). It is encouragement wrapped in expansive sound, a soundscape odyssey, produced in the UK by the renowned Irish producers Rob Spectrum and Oisin Lunny (worked with U2, Sinead O’Connor and Gangstarr). Part three will be released in 2012.
