2009 Winner "Best CD Project in Any Category" Gian Fiero, Music Critic

Simply put, this CD is perfection! It’s rare when I get a project that takes me out of “music critic” mode, and instantly puts me into music lover mode. Margo Reymundo, anAcapulco born and Dallas raised singer/songwriter accomplishes that and much more with her latest project. Her daring fusion of Tejano/Pop and Latin music is a potent and winning combination that is sure to earn her fans in each genre.

Her most commercial track, “My Heart's Desire,” has break-out, radio hit potential with its plush, organic production and beautiful vocal arrangements. It is complemented by the poignant and flirtatious, “Picture This,” which is fortified with heavenly harmonies, melodies, and Caribbean rhythms. Margo turns in her lone AC/Pop tune on the breathy and unforgettable track, “Between Us," which is abundantly qualified for airplay on AAA stations, and even tackles R&B on the sassy and danceable, “I Saw You.”

Margo also ambitiously tackles classic covers such as "Wrapped Around Your Finger," by the Police, “You Belong To Me,” by Carly Simon (which works brilliantly in this Spanish incarnation) and her haunting version of "Aint No Sunshine" by Bill Withers. They are all done boldly and very effectively.

As a music lover, listening to this CD was My Heart’s Desire, and it will be yours too. It’s a truly breathtaking and very impressive independent project indeed.
