Marco Socci aka Dj Soch first became interested in the international
dance club scene in 1986. He was influenced by many genres of music,
mixing funk, soul, hip hop, techno Detroit and house music in all its
evolutions (acid, deep, garage, etc.) creating his own blend. He played
for the first time for a broader audience in Mito, a popular nightspot
where he introduced its patrons to house music. Over the years he has
worked with different radio stations and has since moved on to being a
deejay and musical consultant for Max and Co. (a leading Max Mara
fashion group) and La Perla during the fashion events in Milan. In 1999
he produced ringtones for the Siemens cellular phone C25, becoming
therefore one of its testimonials. In 2001 his firs mix for “Deep
Touch” record label of Miami was released in collaboration with Joe
Montana, with whom he continued collaborating. At present he performs
in clubs and produces soundtracks for various labels. Marco is
continuously looking for new sounds and is renown for experimenting
with innovative material. With house music as his dominating sound, he
considers music to be not only fun and entertainment, but as a
fundamental means of communicating his mood, his passion, and his
message to the public.
