Markus Cole, who originates from the Caribbean, has established himself as the next superstar electronic dance music producer to come out of Toronto, Canada. Although only being 18 years old he been blazing a trail through the internet and after achieving more than 350,000 plays and over 30,000 downloads in only one year it seems there is no mountain Mr. Cole can’t conquer. Markus is recognized by Marcel Woods, who has ranked in the Top 100 on DJ MAG and has worked with Tiesto on several occasions. Cole has been featured on many of the leading music blogs and websites including ThisSongSlaps.com, DJ Mag Canada, Fistintheair.com, House.net and BeTheRave.com. His remix of Imagine Dragons' hit single “It’s Time” went viral reaching a total of 25,000 plays and support from over 50+ prominent dance music blogs across the web. Markus’ latest remix of The Knocks' “Modern Hearts” gained support from The Knocks themselves within 24 hours of releasing. Mr. Cole’s most recent single “Fall Of Venus” was released on Musical Madness and was supported by several top DJs such as Marcel Woods.

Markus played an online dance music festival with the likes of Adventure Club, Candyland, Vicetone, Henrix and many other top notch DJs. He performed at Virgin Mobile’s MOD Club in downtown Toronto where he did an hour long set that was praised by all who attended. Markus’ latest headlining show at Mansion Nightclub in Ottawa, Canada was a huge success that left the club owners craving his return. Several club owners stated that they have not seen that kind of energy since Deadmau5 and Tommy Trash performed. Next stop for Markus along his summer DJ circuit will be an international booking in New York City.
