Deception Recordings started in by Manifest & friend Mark Dixon as an outlet for Manifest tracks. Starting with the 1st release "Never 2 Far featuring Lisa Viva" on side A, with the flipside "5 Boros" supported by the likes of Bailey and many more. Dub War" was the second release, which was championed by Grooverider, Ray Keith, Nicky Blackmarket & many more. "Dub War" was also the label’s biggest seller to date. The 3rd installment was collaboration between BTK and Manifest called "Infected World" which was a big Nero Funk roller, winning support from Various Dj's within the drum & bass scene. Witchcraft was by Manifest & Mechanizm, a free download Sampler for the Release of the labels 1st E.P., which was a favorite through out the drum & bass community, downloaded by many till this date. The forth release was Manifest's "The Nitty Gritty E.P." which was a collaboration with Meth. A Nero Funk Roller, with twisted bass filters. Tonite featured vocalist Ceri - B, boasting Soulful Pads, Smooth Vocals, with a Tear -out breaks & Bass. The Infamous "Dub War" was remixed by Verb updating the original with more Amen edits and killer Reece Bassline & 808 subs. The forth & last track "Decepticon", a dark, futuristic roller with vocals by the Manifest, taking you on a journey.

The Label started a new off shoot project to promote the label's music of called "Deception Podcast", A Free Download designed for today’s Online community, Android & iphone products, Showcasing Past, Present & Future music from various artists and tracks from the Deception Camp, A podcast available on social networks & websites like: Facebook, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Podomatic & ITunes to name a few. A unique podcast production, Narrative vocal effects, taking you through a hour of Drum & Bass.
